Presidential Hall - Rome Ostiense
The Capitoline station was designed by the architect of the FS Works and Construction Service, Roberto Narducci, in anticipation of the Universal Exhibition of 1942. Inside is the presidential hall, introduced by a monumental atrium. Dominating the 115 square meter room is the statue of the Goddess Roma, created in 1940 by the sculptor Alfredo Angeloni and located on the right wall. The statue is about three meters high and is made of white Carrara marble.
