Departing from Rome, you can reach the Via Francigena, the St. Benedict's Way, the St. Francis' Way, and other important itineraries crossing the Tuscia region and leading towards the Eternal City.

Thanks to dedicated train and bus connections, every stop becomes a gateway to a territory waiting to be explored step by step.

An itinerary designed for those who wish to experience travel as an integral part of the journey itself, reaching walking routes, historic villages, and territories rich in history through sustainable and integrated mobility.

Roma Termini → Monterotondo → Montefiascone → Viterbo Porta Fiorentina → Viterbo Porta Romana → Roma Termini

The Walking Routes You Can Reach

📍 Via Francigena (Northern Section)

Through the stops at Montefiascone and Viterbo, you can access one of Europe's most renowned pilgrimage routes along the Lazio section of the Via Francigena.

📍 St. Francis' Way

The Monterotondo stop provides access to the final section of the St. Francis' Way leading to Rome.

📍 St. Benedict's Way

Thanks to the bus connection from Monterotondo to Mandela and Vicovaro, it is possible to reach one of the most fascinating spiritual itineraries in central Italy.

📍 Romea Strata

Monterotondo is a railway gateway to the final stretch of the Romea Strata route towards Rome.

📍 Romea Germanica

The Viterbo-Montefiascone corridor represents one of the access points to the Romea Germanica itineraries in Lazio.
