On the occasion of the opening day of “GO!2025 Nova Gorica-Gorizia European Capital of Culture”, on February 8, 2025 it was possible to travel aboard the iconic ETR 252 “Arlecchino”. A train born to amaze at the beginning of the 60s of the last century and which has come back to life thanks to the restoration work carried out by the FS Foundation.
On Saturday, February 8, it was possible to experience a timeless travel experience aboard what is in all respects a symbol of speed and elegance: one of the excellences of the Italian railway tradition.
The Arlecchino left Venice at 8:52 to arrive in Gorizia at 10:50, with intermediate stops in Treviso, Sacile, Pordenone and Udine. Before leaving for Venice (p. 17:30 / a. 19:38), the train ran an exclusive shuttle service between Trieste, Udine and Gorizia
