The Sicilia Express was created in collaboration with the Sicilian Region and FS TTI to offer Sicilians living away from home an extra opportunity to return home during the Christmas holidays.
On December 21, 2024, the special train will depart from Turin and you can also get on in Novara, Milan, Parma, Modena, Bologna, Florence, Arezzo, Rome and Salerno, and will reach Syracuse and Palermo. The prices are convenient. On January 5, the train will return towards Turin.
On the Sicilia Express you will travel in maximum comfort, the seats are comfortable, spacious, an entire carriage is dedicated to your luggage and the BAR/restaurant carriage is always open.
During the journey, you will live cultural and gastronomic experiences that celebrate the authenticity of Sicily and you will have the opportunity to taste the typical products of the Sicilian tradition.
The Sicilia Express celebrates the Sicilian land: by boarding you will participate in a "traveling party", a journey totally different from the usual, where each stop is a step towards the warmth of the land of origin, but also an opportunity to share emotions and conviviality with other travelers. For those who choose the maximum comfort of our completely renovated cabins. The most comfortable way to travel at night without losing even a day of travel.
Each cabin is equipped with 1 or 2 beds with mattresses, sheets and pillows, a corner with sink and mirror, a sofa and a clothes hanger. Each cabin is also equipped with a space dedicated to large luggage, a reading lamp, electrical outlets and a button for directly calling the on-board staff.
Each traveler will be provided with a travel kit containing disposable soap, a pair of disposable slippers, a wet handkerchief.
